MAHAFPC - AHA workshop for Strengthening FPCs starts

Pune, 6 Nov : Two days international workshop has been organised by Bonn ( Germany )  based German farmer Associations training institute  Andreas Hermes Akademie (AHA) and MAHAFPC at Pune. A selected group of 15 persons including Board members, Management Team of MAHAFPC & FPC leaders are part of this brainstorming session. 
AHA trainers Poorvi Shah- Palouni and Norbert Grobbel will coordinate the session. This workshop will chalk out the further action for collaborative work for organisation development of MAHAFPC as well as farmer producer companies in the state of Maharashtra.

Pune, 11 Jan: State run MSTC organised reverence e-auction of onion through its platform to give relief to the farmers. Unlike the regular auction where buyers compete by offering higher prices, in reverse auction sellers compete to get business which usually leads to a drop-in price . Mother dairy was a buyer for the 20 MT of onion and floor price was Rs. 9.5/kg. MSTC was already in contact with organised retailers like Spencer’s & Reliance fresh to purchase the onion on e-RAKAM platform. As a new initiative for the price discovery mechanism, MAHAFPC entered in the bidding and locked the first deal. While greeting MAHAFPC team, DGM of MSTC Shri. P K Sinha said that MSTC plans to replicate the model, once it is successful, for facilitating sale of other agri produce which are subject to price fluctuations. लातूर, १२ डिसें. लातूर मधील हमीभाव खरेदी केंद्रे सुरु केलेल्या १४ शेतकरी कंपन्यांची लातूर येथे बैठक पार पडली असून सध्या सोयाबीनचे बाजारभाव हमीभापेक्षा अधिक असल्याने कंपन्यांनी बाजारभावाने सोयाबीन खरेदी करून प्रक्रियादारांना पुरवठा करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला असून डिसेंबर अखेरीस ८००० क्विंटल सोयाबीन खरेदीचे उद्दिष्ट्य ठेवण्यात आले आहे.
