FPCs meet for deciding strategy for Disposal Plan of stored Onion

Pune 1 July : MAHAFPC has procured 25,000 MT of Onion directly from Farmers through Farmer producer companies under PSF. As per the directions of NAFED, FPCs meet at Pune to prepare a comprehensive plan to reduce the losses in supply chain.

MAHAFPC successfully bids for country’s first Reverse e-auction of Onion through MSTC

Pune, 11 Jan: State run MSTC organised reverence e-auction of onion through its platform to give relief to the farmers. Unlike the regular auction where buyers compete by offering higher prices, in reverse auction sellers compete to get business which usually leads to a drop-in price . Mother dairy was a buyer for the 20 MT of onion and floor price was Rs. 9.5/kg. MSTC was already in contact with organised retailers like Spencer’s & Reliance fresh to purchase the onion on e-RAKAM platform. As a new initiative for the price discovery mechanism, MAHAFPC entered in the bidding and locked the first deal. While greeting MAHAFPC team, DGM of MSTC Shri. P K Sinha said that MSTC plans to replicate the model, once it is successful, for facilitating sale of other agri produce which are subject to price fluctuations. पुणे, ६ ऑगस्ट : महा एफपीसी च्या पुढाकारातून महा ओनियन  उपक्रमाअंतर्गत शेतकरी कंपन्यांनी रिटेल कांदा  विक्री सुरु केली आहे. पहिल्या टप्यात सिंहगड रोड व गुलटेकडी परिसरात किरकोळ विक्रीची दुकाने व किरकोळ विक्रेते यांच्या मार्फत कांदा  विक्री सुरु असून लवकरच पुणे शहर व पिंपरी चिंचवड परिसरात थेट ग्राहकांना कांदा उपलब्ध करून दिला जाणार आहे.
